We have a couple of these Sari Bari blankets and love them. They are beautiful colors and mid-weight so perfect for all seasons. They are made from recycled sari material and then hand-quilted with channel stitching design. The Kantha stitching is a traditional Bengali and West Bengal stitch. There are so many beautiful colors available and different sizes.
Sari Bari offer women who have been exploited in the sex trade or who are vulnerable to trafficking employment, training, and a safe and loving environment. They are supported as they make a new life for themselves.

Their two year residential program provides women with what they need to help turn their lives around, and employment opportunities to help them become economically independentl.
